How to prepare for the test?

Before the test, it is recommended to perform an ultrasound examination of the fetus in order to find out the number of fetuses and the exact duration of pregnancy

The test is carried out at least 10 full weeks after the beginning of pregnancy

Before donating blood, it is recommended not to eat for several hours
Limitations of the test
The NIPT test cannot be performed in the case of a triplet or higher-order pregnancy
Test results may be influenced by established autoimmune diseases, malignant and/or benign tumors, pregnancy with a vanishing twin, death of a developing fetus, etc.
Test results may be affected by recent blood transfusions, organ transplants, stem cell transplants, etc.
